Born out of their shared love of folk and punk rock, Particle War is a collaborative collection of brand new songs from Particle Kid and Sunny. On the heels of her recent release "With the Sun" (which features Micah Nelson on drums and piano) and following his West Coast tour, Sunny War & Micah Nelson (Particle Kid) will release their split LP on April 20, recorded at Hen House Studios in Venice, CA.
It happened like this: Sunny had a handful of songs, Micah had a handful of songs and having both recently completed albums but wanting to release their creations it seemed only natural that the two friends collaborate and release something together.

Micah and Sunny recorded five original songs and one cover. To make the LP less of two individual artists side by side and more a collaborative project, they play or sing on every song, be it bass, drums, guitar or backing vocals.
